For hotels
A water management system for Caribbean hotels
Guests notice two things fast: no water, and a noisy pump at night. Kanari keeps the tanks full and the pumps in check, without anyone on watch.
The problems it solves
- Missed city water. The supply comes while nobody is looking, the cistern fills, and the pumps never start. Kanari starts them at your start level.
- Pumps running dry. A pump that loses its water draws less power. The switch sees it and stops the pump within two minutes, before the seals burn.
- Hidden leaks. A running toilet or a cracked pipe wastes thousands of gallons a week. A meter on the rooms line shows water moving when the hotel is asleep.
- Tanks losing water. A cistern that drops with the pumps off means an open valve or a leak. Your team hears about it within the hour.
- Guessing. How long did the pumps run today? When did city water come? The dashboard keeps a month of history.
Who sees what
Managers and maintenance get the dashboard on their phones and laptops: tank levels, pump state, run times and history. The maintenance WhatsApp group gets only the messages that need a person, and every pump start and stop. Owners can check in from anywhere.
Safety first
Automatic control comes with hard limits. The pumps stop at your stop level, when readings go stale, when the power says they're running dry, and when the switch loses contact with the system for ten minutes. After a power cut they stay off until told otherwise.
Typical setup for a 20 to 60 room hotel
- One level sensor in the cistern, one in each roof tank.
- One pump switch per transfer pump circuit.
- Meters on the city supply and the main line to the rooms.
- One hub.
